I don't think i've seen a more beautiful movie as Saawariya. I think the main reason i like it is because it doesn't have a very Bollywood ending.. you know the kind in which the hero and heroine always live happily ever after cuz in real life you don't always get your happy endings.. do you? the costumes, sets and characters were very uniquely portrayed with just a bit of influence from Moulin Rouge. The movie's not for people who get things only if it's spoonfed to them. In this movie, you have to think.. Think about life and love and destiny and Fate and whether loving someone means giving everything up for that one person or destroying everything you've ever loved in your way to love.

The one thing that strikes me in this movie is the total lack of colours except for green,black and blue. The mundane colours strike me as a bit overwhelming compared to the colourful songs and intense emotions..
