Wow! Yesterday was the first time i worked anywhere. And it had to be at the Science Centre. It was really fun! I mean there were four of us in a group and we had to coach little kids how to make twirlers and thaumetropes. The kids were so cute and they were like so energetic not at all like us teenagers who are always so shy and grumpy about doing anything ( including me!). Come to think of it, none of the teenagers i know have ever been excited about doing anything not related to as "cool". It's sad really. I mean when we were young we were like so bubbly and energetic and enthusiastic about doing anything. Now it's like all so mellow and everything. Oh well i can't say i wouldn't be surprised if an Ah Pek tried to climb a coconut tree.
Anyway, school is gonna start in a couple of weeks. I'm so scared i get nightmares about the first day of school. It's scary! Like i keep dreaming about a guy in a suit locking me up in a classroom and then i suffocate to death while that stupid guy is laughing. Don't laugh. You have no idea how many weirdos there are in school.
And the books are no help at all! They are so bloody heavy and thick! Can you believe we're gonna read it all in a year?! I wonder if i will have time for blogging next year. I've signed up for so many things. The Science Centre for one. Then there's the IN crowd ( but i'm not sure if i've been selected. I got an email today but i still have to send them my portfolio so we'll see) Then i've got Editorial in which i'm gonna be a senior. And then i'm also giving tuition. And i'm also thinking of visiting an orphange. Just to see how it's like and maybe engross the kids in something.
I know it's alot but the important thing is that i would love to do any of those no matter how exhausting it may be. That and juggling all of them with school work and my commitments to my friends and family. And of course , blogging! :)
But i plan on being more mature starting from next year which also means no crazy laughing, if i can help it! But maybe not. I love to laugh! I hope next year doesn't turn me into a grouch. Grouches are boring and they're always talking about dying. Mental cases!

I'm star struck!!! Seriously...And why you may ask?
Because i met M.T.V V.Js Colby Miller and Denise Keller!!!
Yes you heard that right!! And that too for a press conference! Woohoo!But honestly though, i think that Jill is nore star struck! Oh and they signed our tees for us and took photos with us and signed autographs for us!!! Jill even has her photo in today's Straits Times. Cool huh?
Well.. to begin with, All three of us ( Jill, Hui Min and I) went for a three-day camp at SPH, where we learnt about being a journalist and met some of the people working there. They were really nice and man! the food was great! We had brownies and chocolate eclairs and all sorts of food. And it was really nice cuz we got alot of goodies too! Haha! And we met Suzanne Walker who is an R.J. She told us how it all works. And well, it was really fun! The games and well... EVERYTHING!
I'm going again tmr to get back my folder so i'll post some of the pictures then! Hopefully...:)

Wow! I've had a long weekend. I went to watch Babul with Divya at Bugis. On the way there, my sandal broke and i had really bad shoe bite on the back of my left foot. Secondly, the movie was really boring. It was so exaggerated and so not surprising at all. Anyway, after the movie, somehow we landed in Suntec City after going through a wrong exit. And then we were perpetually broke. Anyway, i couldn't walk with just one heel so we stopped at Bata and bought a sandal there. You have no idea how glad i was to see the $10 sandal. Anyway, from Suntec City, we took a feeder bus to City Hall. I should mention at this point of time that it was already 9pm when we reached City Hall. From there, i finally reached home at 10.30, the latest ever! Now i have a really bad shoe bite and if i wear shoes for too long, i have to walk with a limp. Dang!
Then on Saturday, I had a really bad flu. I was sneezing like five times every minute. I even thought for one second that my head would just blow off if i sneezed any louder. And then my parents had to get in the act saying that some outside fresh air would do me some good. Ha! Do me good my foot! First, they woke me up from my panadol-induced sleep and then made me wear my shorts. And guess where we were going? To blooming Changi Beach!!! Oh for God's sake! But it wasn't much fun cuz i ran out of tissue on the beach and i had to hold my nose so that well, it wouldn't spill. And anyway, then it started to rain and we had to get back in the car. At last i thought i would be able to go home and sleep and wear my PJs. But alas! These are my parents we're talking about. So instead, we went to Mustafa!!!! Bloody hell! They wouldn't even let me out of the blooming car! Which a good thing because i was wearing my shorts. Not to be biased or anything, but it can get a little intidimating to wear shorts in front of men whose eyes turn the "other way round". As if that wasn't bad enough, my dad was playing " Who Let the Dogs Out?" very loudly and with the windows down. Right. Half the population there is Muslim!!!
At the end of it all. it went rather horrible.
And i can't possibly add about happened at the Science Centre. I would be morbildy depressed. Oh bugger!

Concurrently with the boredom of the school holidays, i have been thinking of writing a book. It's just that everytime i try to write one, i have writer's bloc just a few pages later. And then a few days later, i forget about the book completely. Bugger! But anyway... With sheer determination, anything is possible. ( i hope)
Anyway, i was supposed to go watch Dhoom 2 with Sayli and Divya. Then i asked my mum yesterda and she said no straight away. So i smsed Divya saying that i couldn't go. That's fine. But then this morning, when i woke up, my mum actually asked " what time are you going for Dhoom 2?" I just looked at her in wonder.
Is it just me or has my mum got early senile dementia? She's only 39! Oh God! Bother, i have to go buy food.

I saw Happy Feet yesterday. It was so cute! I loved Mumble's friends especially the one who sings behind his back while he's pretending to sing. Favourite dialogue: How we gonna tell his Mama he brought us here all the way just to kill himself?
It was way cute! And plus there was Hugh Jackman. You cannot possibly go wrong with a voice like that! And there was Nicole Kidman being the sweet little blue-eyed wonder that she is. Say whatever you want. Nicole is sweet! Tom Cruise was the one who went bonkers to dump her for Katie Holmes. Anyway, the movie was a little Greenpeace-y. But the music was hoo boy! It was awesome!
And then i had to go for Sayli's birthday party. Happy Birthday!!
It was fun and everything. We played volleyball until some snooty kids came saying that it was their court. And then we went to her house where we had cake and pav- bhaji. The cake was really really sinful! It was all chocolate! Oh and that freak of a girl went and put cake all over my face! haha! Yeah, it was fun!
i hope i can find some Happy Feet videos!

Well, today was alright i suppose. Nothing too shocking or wonderful. Just plain... boring. I'm so getting used to becoming older by the day now, it's a wonder i haven't died yet. Ha!
I really feel as though i'm living a life FULL of regrets even though i don't want to. I mean i just keep on wishing that i hadn't said something things or done somethings and yet i can frankly say that if i hadn't maybe i wouldn't have gotten here at all! And i'm not sure if "here" is a good or bad place. Gosh i'm confused!
Aarthi is lwaving for Italy on Monday. Lucky Duck! I mean yeah sure, i went to Italy but i was only nine. I mean how much of a place can you remember when you were nine. But Italy is beautiful! My favourite place in all of Italy is Venice. It's one of the BEST pizza places. And the wine there is really fantastic! And the scenery! I want to go live in Venice except that, you know, i have motion sickness and sea-sickness. Bah!
But Ireland could be good though. With all that Irish coffee and that to-die-for Irish accent.. It would be nice! Except that caffeine is really bad for your health and imitating and Irish accent is supposedly disrespectful. Sometimes i really wish there weren't two sides of a coin...
And then there's Sayli's birthday party on Monday too! It would be splendid! I haven't see Sayli in such a long time. Divya and i are going to be sharing the prez. I'm not sure for to get for her and besides Divya's the best friend! :)
Oh gosh! It's really late now! I've got to go sleep.

Today is such a fantastic day! The farewell party for Mrs Thai went really really well. The video was really sweet and the food even sweeter. Although my cake was a little, um, lopsided. I made a Strawberry Cream Sponge. Well basically, i bought two sponge cakes from Shop N Save and then Aarthi and I sprayed cream onto each layer and then topped it off with strawberries. Oh and we even put a little Cherry Liquer on top of it. Only a little. (Although, Jill put some of the liquer in her coke.) Anyway, we had loads of fun playing Murderer and Whacko and Air Volleyball with a white balloon. For Murderer we played two kinds. There was the Mafian version and the normal version. For the Mafian version the murderer would have to blink at someone to kill him or her and for the normal version, we had to hold hands and then the murderer would have to like press someone's hand a certain number of times. Well, i don't really know how to explain it but it was really fun! Oh and i almost forgot, when Mrs Thai and Miss Lappen came into the room, Jaslyn, Naomi and Sok Kee sprayed on them with the Party Sprays. Then Mrs Thai went around spraying everyone with the spray and at the end of it was like a Winter Wonderland. Haha! Anyway, then for Whacko, i was Strawberry Shortcake, Aarthi was Mariah Carey and Mrs Thai was !xobile( try pronoucing it!)! And then Miss Lappen was Hilary Duff, even though she hated her. Oh and the loser had to eat a piece of cake on which Min Xian had accidentally spit on. Thank God for me i was only hit once! YEUCK!
And then we played air volleyball with the white balloon. Aarthi, Jill, Miss Lappen and Naomi and I were on one team and the Sec 1s were on one team and Mrs Thai was referee.It was really tiring and funny and well it was really really funny. Then whenever the balloon came close to Jill she would like swat it out of her way like she was swatting a fly or something. Like she was like half-dead or something. Haha! Damn! It was so fun! Miss Lappen promised she's gonna email me the photos so i'll let you guys see then! Then after that, Miss Lappen sang for us the Too Little Too Late song by JoJo. She's really good! Oh and then we cleared up the place and left. After which Jill, Aarthi and i took 98.
I'm glad the day went well. Well, that's all the time i have for this entry so Bye! :)
