Hello People!
haha.. i'm not sure what exactly to say cuz well.. nothing that interesting ever happens anyway.. still reading the biography of Gandhi's.. it's become a bit boring now since it's all figures and stuff but the history part is pretty cool.. like hindi is an Indo-Aryan language and Marathi is a Indo-Aryan language.. it's pretty fascinating, the stuff..
anyway. tmr's Diwali or Deepavali as some people know it as.. I suppose Diwali is just another occasion for people, namely my mother, to celebrate with alot of gaudy stuff. haha. but then the festival itself is pretty colourful.. if you go to Serangoon Road or Little India, the lights will just blow you away, hopefully, not literally.. anyway.. Indian festivals are pretty bright and there's always a story behind them.. i think Diwali is to celebrate the return of a king who was sent to an exile for fourteen years together with his wife and his younger brother..
Not to be rude or anything, but i think that they were just ordianary beings and not some celestial beings.. i mean if a person is good and always does good stuff, it doesn't necessarily mean that he/she is a saint.. But all in all..
