Oh God! I just read the most amazing book( i know i keep saying that but seriously, this was really, really a fantastic read). I can't really remember the title cuz i didn't understand the word Superlatives. But anyway, i think it was called The Superlatives of Women by Catherine Lim. It was really something out of a movie, the way i got it. cuz when i first reached class in the morning, xin en asked me if the book was mine since it was found on the floor but it wasn't until Chem that the book caught my eye.. and then i got so engrossed in it that i totally missed Chem. Not that it's my favourite subject or anything.. it just made me feel a little guilty cuz you know,Sec 4 next year and everything.. anyway... the book was about the injustic women have to suffer at the hands of men. I swear, by recess, which was right after Chem, i was totally waterfalling tears. it was that touching. Like there's this girl Pei Yin who gets raped by her step-father when she's alone at home with him, she's only like thirteen and then the step-father gets off scott-free cuz Pei Yin doesn't dare tell anyone cuz she's so freaking ashamed!!! okay just for the record... THE FREAKING FATHER SHOULD BE BLOODY ASHAMED... god it really got to me that part. And then there's this other girl, Bina who is wedded off at the age of twelve to this fat stinky Arab who's like 65... Hello? Logic????God the stupid things that people do!!... So now, you can see why i got so bloody sentimental...You have totally GOT to read this book.. It will be the one thing stopping you from talking or thinking bad about your mom, trust me. oh and anyway.. the photo on top is of my aunt and my sister...Anyway.. enjoy people! Oh and common test in 2 weeks!!!! ACK!!!
