oh and btw, i got a pic to show you guys.. it's super scary..it's this guy called Joseph Carrey Merrick who was born in Leiceister on 5th August 1862. He was called the Elephant Man and this is seriously how he looked like. His mother died causing his father to remarry. His stepmother sent him away because of his deformity and he remained unemployed for the better part of his life until he died in 11th April 1890. He actually worked in a freak show..

But the thing that really struck me about this man was that he was so deformed and yet he lived for like 28 years.it is said that after he was hospitalised for bronchial infection, he became a favourite of Queen Victoria and after he was discharged, he wanted to go back to the hospital to look for a blind woman who would not be afraid of his appearance.
